Recent Executive Orders

TD Community,

Since January 20, there has been a deluge of executive orders from the Trump administration. Like many of you, we’re scrambling to take it all in and process what they mean.

Three of these orders have implications specifically for transgender people. Whatever your thoughts are on the policy merits of each individual order, it is a harrowing time for trans people and their communities.

As a result, we’re going to push back the release of our Gender & Elite Sports episode by 1 or 2 weeks. In the near-term, we’re exploring a nuanced dialogue on the executive orders themselves.

Please know that during times like these, The Disagreement is more committed than ever to enabling highly nuanced, productive dialogue across lines of difference.
