“Horrific and heartbreaking” and also entirely predictable and directly related to the rot at Harvard. Nobody is “crying wolf”, Alex.
I have enjoyed the Disagreement episodes that I’ve listened to, and I appreciate the way you facilitate the conversations. I understand that this free-form discussion was different. It was revealing.
I agree with you that it's related to many of the antisemitic incidents on Ivy League campuses. The two main points I tried to get across were: 1) Trump's illiberal interventions -- the deportations, ripping out billions in science research, his ban on international students -- do not help fight antisemitism and likely make things significantly worse. 2) In order to address antisemitism, we have to attempt to distinguish between virulent strains of left wing antisemitism and legitimate criticism of Israel's foreign policy.
If you're game, I'd love to have a call and hear your perspective.

Thank you for the feedback. I take it seriously.

The Disagreement has gone stale faster than sourdough. Seriously, can you think of anything to disagree about that isn't completely derivative?
Love a good gluten metaphor. What are your top three topics/questions that we should be working on?
